Deira Islands is a spectacular 15.3 square kilometre mixed-use, waterfront development, comprising four man-made islands situated adjacent to Dubai's Deira district. The remarkable project adds 40 kilometres, including 21 kilometres of beachfront, to Dubai's coastline and is expected to have a population of 250,000 people. The islands will feature residential units, retail destinations, hotels and resorts, and more. The Night Market, currently under construction, will be the biggest night market in the world. The upcoming Deira Mall will be one of the region’s biggest malls in terms of leasable space with 4.5 million square feet net leasable area. Deira Islands will also feature resorts from international hospitality brands including Spain’s RIU Hotels & Resorts and Thailand’s Centara Hotels & Resorts. Six marinas will offer 614 berths, that can accommodate boats and yachts up to 60 metres long.
